Gerry is a Freelance Radio DJ from Galway in Ireland with an interest mainly in Country and Irish music, the days of the Showbands and their music and the general pop music of the 50's, 60's, 70's and to a lesser degree ..... the 80's and 90's. Having retired from his working life, Gerry now sees this venture as a pass time. His radio and recording is a non-profit and non-commercial venture and likes to see his role as a service to the worldwide community of listeners that tune in and enjoy his musical taste and choice. 

Gerry, as a presenter, or as a co-presenter, likes to involve, whenever possible, the listening audience. Their messages and texts are of prime importance to him as a presenter. His country music roots definitely come out in the music he plays. A leading musician himself with a passion for country music since his very early years, he is known for his deep and dedicated support for Country Artists throughout the world and country music events across the land. His radio playlists every day are something that will give everybody an insight into his musical tastes.

Gerry sees his role as being the "front of house" for the radio stations that he presents for and his programmes bring those stations to life. His radio shows create that touch of magic to the style of the output and, thus, embodies the heart and soul of the radio station. He likes to inform, entertain and enlighten the listening audience and create a form of "family" relationship with his listeners. He has stamped his mark as a radio DJ with his unique blend of country and Irish music, Irish Showband music and his Golden Classics from the 50's, 60's, 70's, etc.
